Like its larger counterpart, the Coosh Intelligent Upper Arm Digital Blood Pressure Monitor allows you to take your own speedy and accurate blood pressure readings yourself, right at home!
This particular model boasts a clear LCD display with large on-screen icons and a memory that stores 30 measurements. It requires 4 AA batteries to operate (not included), but it doesn’t have an input for a charger. Batteries are the only source of power for the model. The blood pressure classifications used for assessment are that of the World Health Organization.
I really liked the compact design and portability of this blood pressure monitor. It fit into the palm of my hand, and was extremely lightweight. After turning the monitor on, all numbers and icons were displayed. After about 2 seconds, my last reading was shown on screen. If it’s your first time using, it’ll display 00.
The arm cuff begins to inflate almost instantly, so be sure to have it secured before pressing the ON button. It took less than a minute for the monitor to display my blood pressure, and I appreciated the bright display and large numbers. It was easy to read and simple to understand.
The material of the arm cuff felt professional and durable. It wrapped comfortably but firmly, around my upper arm, a couple inches above my elbow crease.
Because it’s smaller, this model does not feature it’s own Memory button. To read older results, you’ll want to hold the on/off button for 3 seconds, then press the button to rotate through readings.
Overall, I found the Coosh Intelligent Upper Arm Digital Blood Pressure Monitor user friendly and compact. This model does not come with a carrying/storage case, but that won’t be a deterrent for those who don’t need to travel with it.
